I love it! If you haven’t figured it out by now, I’m a huge fan of feuds. Taylor Swift and Kanye, Trump and Bill Clinton, Trump and Meryl, Kevin Garnett and Charles Barkley, the Queen and death, even Al Horford’s sister and Felger if you want to go way back to the beginning of Doc’s Blog. I love them all. But of all the different types of feuds, the ones that always rise above the rest are brother vs. brother. A rivalry with someone that you’ve known your whole life. It’s the most intense rivalry possible. The first recorded rivalry in human history was a brother vs. brother, ever hear of Cain and Able? What about Moses and Ramses? Venus and Serena? Undertaker and Kane? The stakes are so much higher when you’re facing off against your own flesh and blood, and when the stakes are high, the outcome is legendary.

I don’t expect Casey and Ben to be anything compared to those wonderful examples but I’ll set my expectations high and just be disappointed. It’ll be just like watching most Ben Affleck movies.

 

P.S. As an older brother I am 100% on Ben’s side here. If my little brother rides my coat tails all the way to a golden globe I better get a thank you at the very least during his acceptance speech. Especially if he’s going to thank fucking Amazon.
