Fucking Hollywood has dropped the ball once more. This week they have released two shitty movies that have no chance of picking up any WMW awards. Sad!

If they are going to keep releasing terrible movies that aren’t going to shake up the competition for the WMW, I see no point in releasing a new set of awards to the same roster of movies that got the awards two weeks ago. Will that stop the WMW from carrying on though? Not a chance. Hollywood throws us a shitty week of movies, I give you this…

Don’t go to the theaters this weekend. Stay home. Its cold outside. And snowing. You don’t want to go outside in that. So stay home and throw on a movie from Netflix. That brings us to this week’s WMW, the Internet’s most prestigious weekly movie blog is happy to bring you, the Weekend Movie Watchlist- Netflix edition.

Same rules as the Weekend Movie Watchlist, this time the contestant pool is made up of every movie available to stream on Netflix. If you’re not sure what you should do with your weekend and your Queue is empty, consult this edition of the WMW.

Saturdays are for the Boys Award

This one doesn’t carry as much wait as it usually does because I’m not sure why you and the boys are going to get together and watch some Netflix together, but the WMW is a judgement free zone. So if you and the guys are going to hunker down on Saturday night with a good old Netflix movie, look no further than…

Hot Fuzz

This movie is funny as hell and contains enough action to keep the boys intrigued. Plus it’s British. So you can crack open a couple beers and just be entertained by their funny accents.

Date Night Award (Netflix and Chill Award)

What better way to spend a blizzard than next to a girl watching a movie that is going to get both of you in the mood (like you need a movie to do that). The winner of the Netflix and Chill Award is…

Serena

Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence are a great movie couple. They have done a bunch of great movies together but this is the only one that Netflix has in the roster. I would have preferred to give it to Silver Linings Playbook but I have no problem giving Serena the first ever Netflix and Chill award.

Best in Show

There are a lot of movies on Netflix. A lot of competitors for the most prestigious award that the Internet’s most prestigious weekly movie blog has to offer. There can only be one winner though and that winner is…

Good Will Hunting

It’s a Boston movie so it’s automatically better than most movies. On top of that, Robin Williams kills his performance. If you haven’t seen it already, watch it. If you’ve already seen it, watch it again. There aren’t many movie’s that I can watch over and over but Good Will Hunting is one that I could watch on repeat forever.

Next week there will be a WMW irreguardless of what Hollywood puts out in the theaters. The Internet’s most prestigious weekly movie blog will overcome the failures that the movie industry has.
