I loved this mom. When she was up on the jumbotron dancing her precious little heart out, it was adorable. It was so unique and great and the internet grabbed a hold of it and made it viral as they should have. The internet doesn’t shoot a hundred percent when it comes to making things go viral but Dance Mom was definitely a win. She deserved her couple seconds of trending time. She worked hard for it.

Now that I have said my piece on Dance Mom… This video should never have been made. There has never been a sequel that was better than the original and internet videos does nothing but reinforce that rule. The Warriors saw that they had something that was popular online and they wanted to capitalize on that because apparently the championship that they are all but guaranteed to get in a few months isn’t enough to satisfy their thirst for publicity.

This was Home Alone 2. It still has Kevin McCallister in it, and you kind of enjoy watching it, but you already saw the first Home Alone and this is just that same thing, but on a larger scale. Dance Mom still kills it and her performance is still amusing to watch but it is no longer the natural, genuine performance that people fell in love with.

It happened with Ken Bone and now Dance Mom. The internet falls in love with something and so the mainstream tries to exploit it. Just let the internet have its fun please.
