What???? An old lady from the south is racist? Who woulda thunk it? It’s a good thing this video came out to remind everyone that racism is still a thing. Otherwise we all would have just continued to think that we solved racism back when cops didn’t go to prison for killing unarmed blacks or when we elected a president who’s solution to illegal immigration is to build a wall.
This video is so fucking stupid.
It has a stupid title. Of course racism is still a huge problem, no one was under any sort of delusion that racism was gone.
It has a stupid premise. This is an old white woman with a southern accent, of course she’s racist. She grew up in a different time and a different place, no matter how much the world changes around her, she will forever remain a product of her time.
And I’m not so sure the people in question were innocent. Obviously I can’t tell for sure but it really seems like these two cut in front of the old lady in line. Does that mean they deserve to be ripped apart by this old lady? No. Does that mean that they deserve to not be ripped apart by this old lady? No. We are operating in something of a gray zone where this lady should have given them a piece of her mind but maybe she should have pulled her punches a bit (the welfare thing probably crossed a couple lines).
P.S. remember when Obama brought the black guy and white guy to the White House to share a beer with him and that solved racism for a while? I hope Trump does that with this old lady and her new foreign friends.
