Yeah. Actually yeah I am. School shootings are terrible. I shouldn’t need to say that but I will. Everytime I hear about one I feel sick. They are far too frequent and devastating and something has to be done. But our government has its head so far up its ass that they refuse to actually take any steps in either side’s direction and so things just continue to get worse. That’s probably why we have had 205 school shooting in America since 2013 (Sandy Hook was in December of 2012). I was in history class when my school got put on lock down for almost 3 hours because there was a kid who they thought had a gun. That was some scary shit. I’m going to put all that on hold for a few minutes though and just look at this commercial as a commercial.

And FUCK this commercial. Don’t go ahead and make a commercial about this school property destroying, soulless, dipshit Evan and then put the blame on me for a fucking school shooting because I didn’t notice that some psycho was being a psycho. “While you were watching Evan another student was showing signs of planning a shooting, but no one noticed. Gun violence is preventable when you know the signs.” Umm, fuck you. That basically says, “while you were watching the subject of this commercial you didn’t notice a couple background details and now a bunch of kids are going to die, dick”. Don’t try to put this on me because I don’t pay attention to everything. That’s the idea of this commercial. It wants the viewer to feel guilty and partially at fault for this terrible tragedy that is about to take place to Evan and his class mates and that just isn’t fair. After seeing that this was posted by Sandy Hook Promise I was paying attention to Evan cause I figured that if anyone was about to go off, it’s the red headed kid who’s talking with someone on a desk in the library. Honestly the biggest red flag in the wholevan-misere commercial is that Evan’s people bartered away their souls to the devil. You can’t put this on me for not considering all the suspects and only watching Heat Miser’s neglected son as he stares at every girl with those freaky beady little eyes.
Fuck you Evan, you got no game. I do hope you can get the fuck out of that school with your girl and go do “nothing cool” while your still alive thought buddy.

The idea of this commercial is actually great though. I’m back to being a reasonable human being again by the way. Since the government won’t do anything (in terms of gun control as well as anything at all) and no one can get a read on what Trump’s gun control policy is, give the power to the people. Both sides are right in their criticism of the other side but their own policy is just as fucking stupid. Conservatives want to increase guns so that in the case of a school shooting it can be stopped before it becomes a massacre. To which Liberals say that even one death is too many and increased guns will mean increased shootings. But then Liberals think that guns will be heavily restricted to which conservatives say you will never be able to stop people from getting guns and what do you do after they get a gun if no one else has a gun to stop them. Both of these plans are far from ideal. The one proposed by this commercial is the first one that is actually alright, stop the violence before it happens by recognizing the warning signs in people. Smart action needs to be taken and I’m glad that Sandy Hook Promise is willing to think about the issue and take the action that needs to be taken while elected officials are caught up in their own version of reality and people are being killed.

Luckily most people are less pessimistic than I am and hopefully this commercial will resonate with those people.
